The Diversified Analog Solutions Team in Ottawa is seeking a highly motivated RF Design Validation/Testing Co-op student for a 12-month term.

Job Summary

As an RF Design Validation/Testing Co-op, you will apply your engineering skills to a variety of tasks and projects within the electronics, design engineering, and semiconductor component test development domains.

Responsibilities
  • Support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules.
  • Perform RF tests, analyze results, and present findings to design engineers.
  • Contribute to design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RF components such as switches, filters, couplers, power amplifiers, low-noise amplifiers, and front-end modules.
Qualifications
  • Currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor or Master's program, returning to school after the Co-op term.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and data organization.
  • Knowledge of RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF, etc.) is an asset.
  • RFIC Design and Simulation experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience using RF equipment such as oscilloscopes, VNAs, spectrum analyzers, and RF sources.
