RF Application Engineer Co-Op Opportunity

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. is a leading innovator of high-performance analog semiconductors. We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented university student to join our Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa as a RF Application Engineer Co-Op.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Apply sound engineering skills to evaluate and test WiFi / IoT devices, including PA, LNA, switch, and FEM products.
  • Assist in the development and testing of new integrated circuit and module products.
  • Participate in lab testing of RF circuits, present test results, and contribute to customer SCH/Layout reviews.
  • Complete small projects and task assignments of varying complexity, including device characterization, test environment programming, and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, and Word) and able to quickly learn company-specific software.
  • Experience with test equipment and tools, such as multi-meter, oscilloscope, VNA, spectrum analyzer, RF sources, and soldering tools, is preferred.
