We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Recruiter to join our team at the Government of Nunavut. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will be responsible for recruiting and hiring top talent for nursing positions across the territory.
Key Responsibilities- Recruit and hire highly qualified nursing professionals to meet the needs of our healthcare system
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract diverse candidates
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop targeted recruitment plans
- Source and screen candidates, conducting interviews and assessments as needed
- Process and manage recruitment documentation, including job postings and candidate applications
- Provide exceptional customer service to candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a positive recruitment experience
- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in recruitment or staffing, preferably in a government or healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of recruitment principles, practices, and legislation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
- Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, and language
- Experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment
- Ability to communicate in multiple languages, including Inuktut, English, and French
