Position Overview: Reporting to the Nurse Manager Clinics, the Supervisor of Clinic Client Management plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily functions of the Clinics. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Coordinating support staff schedules.
  2. Facilitating orientation and training for new support personnel.
  3. Ensuring proper handling of time-sensitive clinical samples and specimens.
  4. Managing requisitions for supplies and equipment within budgetary constraints.
  5. Preparing and submitting payroll documentation to the Manager.
  6. Maintaining accurate leave and attendance records.

Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) diploma from an accredited institution, complemented by two years of experience in medical office or clinic settings, including one year in a supervisory capacity. Candidates must be eligible for registration with CANNN (College and Association of Nurses of the Northwest Territories and Nunavut). Current BLS certification and annual recertification are mandatory.

This role is classified as Highly Sensitive, necessitating a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and a clear Vulnerable Sector Check.

Additional Requirements: COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory condition of employment. Proof of vaccination must accompany the application.

The Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English, and French. Applicants are encouraged to submit their resumes in any of these languages. Proficiency in multiple official languages is considered an asset, along with knowledge of Inuit communities and culture.

Recruitment Incentives: Full-time, permanent Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) may be eligible for recruitment bonuses totaling up to $18,000, contingent upon a two-year return of service requirement.
