Your Role: In this pivotal position, you will oversee a team of Unit Managers, ensuring their development and performance management. Your responsibilities will include:
- Offering guidance and coaching to Unit Managers.
- Adhering to operational policies and performance standards.
- Generating reports for management that detail loss development and financial exposure.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer service standards.
- Collaborating with management to implement corporate claims strategies and establish performance targets.
- Analyzing reports to create actionable plans for achieving goals.
- Addressing customer concerns and complaints effectively.
- Working with stakeholders to develop best practices and identify efficiency improvements.
- Some travel may be necessary.
Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who possess:
- A university degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; a CIP designation is an asset.
- A valid AMF license (Quebec) and experience handling complex claims in auto, commercial, and housing sectors.
- Strong leadership abilities, including coaching and mentoring skills.
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in claims operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
