Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Auto Claims Adjuster Trainee. As a trainee, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in the field of insurance claims adjusting, while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that all customers receive a fair and equitable claims experience.
- Investigate losses to determine liability and ensure that all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
- Evaluate relevant information from sources such as appraisers, third-party adjusters, contractors, and repair facilities to quantify losses.
- Coordinate services with vendors and service providers to ensure that all claims are handled in a proactive and timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records based on company standards and policies within the claims system.
- Remain up-to-date with legislative changes and trends in the insurance industry.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Fully proficient in French and English.
- Obtain a Claims Adjuster Permit through the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF) within 6 months of being hired.
- Effective customer service skills, including empathy and concern for our customers.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Detail-oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry.
- Strong negotiation skills.
