At Wawanesa Insurance, we are looking to enhance our workforce by bringing on skilled Auto Claims Specialists. If you are chosen for this role, you will undergo training to secure your adjuster's license from the regulatory authority. Throughout your tenure with us, you will enjoy competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package. Our goal is to support your growth and success in this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer support
- Assess policy coverage and establish reserves
- Investigate liability related to claims
- Analyze loss data to determine damages
- Collaborate with vendors and service providers
- Manage claims processes from initiation to resolution
- Ensure precise documentation in the claims management system
- Keep abreast of industry developments and regulatory changes
- Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications:
- Experience in insurance adjusting
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English
- Possession of a Claims Adjuster Permit from the regulatory authority
- Commercial Permit from the regulatory authority (preferred)
- Progressing towards Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Exceptional customer service and analytical capabilities
- Strong organizational and negotiation skills
