About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Yatin's Kitchen Inc. as a Head Cook/Kitchen Manager. This is a permanent position with a 40-hour bi-weekly work schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Chef Supervision: Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and order supplies and equipment as needed.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Ensure that all food is prepared and served in a safe and healthy environment, adhering to strict food safety and quality control standards.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and manage kitchen staff to ensure excellent service and high-quality food.
  • Kitchen Operations: Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
