About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at SLPH Restaurants Inc. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our guests.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and manage inventory to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Team Leadership
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver exceptional service.
    • Lead by example and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Quality Control
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that they meet our high standards of cleanliness and safety.
    • Monitor food quality and presentation to ensure that it meets our standards.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Manage kitchen operations, including ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining inventory.
    • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
