About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at the Slave Lake Inn and Conference Centre. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the needs of our guests.
  • Chef Supervision: Lead and mentor a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment that meets health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
