About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Nuclear Project Manager to join our team at Kiewit Nuclear Canada. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the execution of nuclear projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor and develop junior project managers and field personnel
  • Review and approve labor rates for foremen, journeymen, and laborers
  • Manage contract administration, including subcontractor and field management meetings
  • Develop and implement a program to maintain good client relations
  • Initiate and attend regular meetings with clients to resolve issues and plan for project completion
  • Oversee and approve monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections
  • Review, approve, and negotiate change orders
  • Develop and implement a plan for project completion and turnover
  • Maintain daily diaries for record-keeping purposes
  • Ensure that all performance evaluations are completed in a timely fashion for direct reports
  • Recommend organizational, policy, and procedural changes as needed
  • Review and approve or reject promotions up to general foremen
Requirements
  • 5+ years of construction experience, with 3+ years in a leadership or superintendent role
  • Self-starter with excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand various processes and software programs
  • Strong experience in leadership, safety, negotiations, planning, and contract administration
  • Disciplines needed: Electrical, Structural, and Mechanical Superintendents
