Job Summary

Sotera Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team. As a key member of our Installation & Service team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of our industrial sterilization equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and commission industrial sterilization equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact performance or safety.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, engineering, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, providing exceptional service and support to meet their needs.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Electrical license (309A or 442A) or Electrical Technician with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Millwright license (433A) or Instrumentation technician license (447A) is an asset.
  • Field service or project coordination experience in nuclear, electrical, or mechanically focused projects is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Able to travel internationally, with a valid Canadian passport and driver's license.

Physical Demands

  • Good manual dexterity and grip strength.
  • Lift at least 25kgs on an occasional basis.
  • Sustained physical work in a hot environment.
  • May require work in confined places and from heights.

Training and Certification

  • Must complete all required training and certification as a Nuclear Energy Worker.
