Job Title: Nuclear Process Improvement Coordinator

At Calian Group Ltd., we are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Process Improvement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Nuclear division, you will play a critical role in enhancing the efficiency, safety, and reliability of our operations through process optimization and continuous improvement strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in analyzing current operations to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  2. Implement strategies to enhance workflow, safety, and operational effectiveness while maintaining compliance with industry regulations.
  3. Participate in technical project teams to support project planning, development, and realization within the Nuclear division.
  4. Maintain the existing Quality Management System and confirm its fitness for purpose on an ongoing basis.
  5. Conduct thorough audits of management system processes, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
  6. Maintain detailed documentation of quality assurance activities, audit results, and safety compliance records, ensuring accuracy and accessibility.
  7. Monitor and analyze quality assurance and safety data, identifying trends and potential risks, and suggesting improvements.
Requirements:
  1. A relevant undergraduate degree in Sciences, Engineering, Nuclear, and/or Business.
  2. 3-5+ years of experience working within Process Improvement/Quality Assurance.
  3. Proven experience working the end-to-end process of process improvement in a similar capacity.
  4. Knowledge of applicable Quality Management and Nuclear standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IS14005, N288, N286-12, N286.7, N299, etc.).
  5. Experience and proficiency in writing technical documents.
  6. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint as well as Sharepoint.
  7. Experience with SAP or a document management system will be considered a strong asset for this role.

  5. A commitment to collaborate and coordinate with various levels of the organization.
