We are seeking a dedicated human resources professional specializing in labor relations to serve as a strategic partner across various sectors of our organization in Canada.

YOUR ROLE WILL INCLUDE:

Designing and executing innovative strategies to fulfill operational requirements while considering employee perspectives. Contributing to the effective functioning, development, and sustainability of our distinctive labor relations framework. Assisting the Operations team and employee representatives in navigating labor relations matters. Guiding and mentoring managers on labor relations, performance evaluation, talent development, change management, and employee engagement challenges. Fostering and nurturing positive relationships. Actively engage in labor relations committees, aid in managing intricate situations, and work towards conflict prevention and resolution. Assessing the landscape of labor relations and aiding in the implementation of optimal practices, policies, and procedures essential for seamless organizational operations. Collaborating with key stakeholders by showcasing KPIs and offering HR insights through data analysis. Engaging in sector-specific HR initiatives through research, presentations, implementation, and follow-up.

YOU WILL EXCEL IN THIS POSITION IF YOU POSSESS:

A bachelor's degree in human resources management or industrial relations, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Comprehensive knowledge of employment and human resources legislation applicable in Quebec. A strong aptitude for building and sustaining trust-based relationships. Leadership attributes, courage, accountability, integrity, and sound judgment. Analytical capabilities and the ability to reflect, seek solutions, and effectively manage outcomes. The capacity to advise and assist employees, operations, and management in resolving common labor relations or employee engagement challenges. Proficiency in communicating with internal and external stakeholders in English on a daily basis. This role necessitates a presence at the workplace for a minimum of 4 days each week.
