We're seeking a talented Human Resources Student to join our team in Atlantic Canada. As a student at PCL, you'll have the opportunity to work on challenging projects, develop your skills, and grow professionally in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with professional development initiatives, including coordinating internal training and course setup.
  • Support the maintenance of our applicant tracking system, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and performing reference checks.
  • Prepare for new employee and student orientations.
  • Provide administrative support for employee career management.
  • Organize Health & Wellness events and initiatives.
  • Implement various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Update and generate monthly reports.
  • Manage and organize our College of Construction courseware database and library.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards a degree or diploma in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Passion for people and excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond to changing demands.
  • Proactive and able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with a learning management system or applicant tracking system is an asset.
