About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Student to join our team in the Atlantic Canada District. As a key member of our Canadian Buildings Division, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience in human resources management and contribute to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with professional development initiatives, including coordinating internal training and course setup.
  • Support the maintenance of our applicant tracking system, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and performing reference checks.
  • Contribute to the preparation for new employee and new student orientations.
  • Provide administrative support for employee career management.
  • Assist with organizing Health & Wellness events and initiatives.
  • Implement various HR initiatives and projects.
  • Generate monthly reports and maintain our College of Construction courseware database and library.
  • Perform other duties and projects as required.
Requirements
  • Working towards a degree or diploma in human resources management or a related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and respond to changing demands.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and anticipate needs.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and experience with a learning management system or applicant tracking system is an asset.
