Job Description

Job Summary:

The District Sales Executive plays a critical role in driving business growth and revenue for Expeditors International. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with customers, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand Expeditors' presence in the market.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to understand their logistics needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Sales and Marketing: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
  • Account Management: Manage a portfolio of customer accounts to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, and a minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a logistics or transportation industry.
  • Skills and Abilities: Strong business acumen, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and a proven track record of sales success.
