Position Overview:

The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing inventory levels through systematic inventory practices. This role involves conducting thorough investigations into any discrepancies to align with operational standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Address and process inventory adjustment requests promptly.
  • Perform root-cause analysis for inventory variances and document findings.
  • Utilize available tools, including ERP systems, to communicate effectively with various departments.
  • Generate and distribute inventory reports to maintain product integrity and traceability.
  • Engage in proactive communication with team members and other departments to gather necessary information.
  • Audit processes to identify and rectify errors affecting inventory precision.
  • Propose continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in Business or Inventory Management preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in inventory management.
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is essential.
  • Experience with ERP systems, particularly Navision, is advantageous.
  • Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail are critical.

Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and stand for a significant portion of the shift.

Working Environment:
  • Refrigerated warehouse setting.
  • Office-based responsibilities with occasional travel between locations.
