Position Overview

We are seeking a HRdirect Benefits Consultant to enhance our expanding HRdirect Service Center team.

This newly established position will serve as the primary contact for addressing inquiries from employees and managers regarding all aspects of Intact's Group Benefits. For more intricate questions, you will work closely with internal and external service providers to ensure effective resolutions and client satisfaction. You will have access to guidelines, knowledge bases, policies, and procedures to assist you in addressing benefits-related inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, resolve, and coordinate various inquiries related to benefits from employees and managers, utilizing best practices and our knowledge base.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external service providers to address complex issues and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Document all calls and maintain records of the resolution process.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the benefits section of our knowledge base.
  • Work with different teams to identify suitable solutions for benefits-related questions.
  • Ensure accurate and consistent responses while recommending improvements.
  • Participate in various team projects on an ad hoc basis.

Qualifications:

  • Educational background in human resources, administration, or a related field.
  • Strong client service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and independence.
  • Capacity to adapt swiftly in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with Workday is an asset.
  • Experience in benefits management is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Recognized for teamwork and collaboration.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in French and English is required for regular interaction with colleagues nationwide.
  • Positive demeanor, independence, and a strong ethical foundation.
