Position Overview:

The HR Recruitment Consultant is a seasoned HR professional with comprehensive expertise in the full-cycle recruitment process. This role is pivotal in guiding client groups to strategically attract top talent, ensuring that organizational needs are met through effective recruitment strategies. The consultant collaborates with clients to develop retention initiatives aimed at enhancing employee satisfaction and retention. Working closely with the recruitment team and hiring managers, the consultant ensures compliance with established recruitment protocols and collective agreements. Additionally, the consultant represents the recruitment team at various career fairs, providing essential information to prospective candidates.

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources; CHRP designation is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in HR or recruitment within both unionized and non-unionized settings.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to accommodate business requirements.

Essential Skills & Attributes:

  • Extensive knowledge and experience in full-cycle recruitment.
  • Experience in healthcare recruitment is considered an asset.
  • Proficient in assessing client needs and developing tailored recruitment strategies.
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential matters with utmost professionalism.
  • Collaborative problem-solving approach.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proactive individual with a strong sense of accountability and sound judgment.
  • Adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.
  • Able to work independently while being a supportive team player.
