Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2747234 ONTARIO INC. as a key member of our restaurant operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement effective work schedules to ensure seamless restaurant operations
    • Train and supervise a team of 16-20 staff members to ensure high-quality service and food preparation
    • Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members
  • Food Preparation and Quality Control
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Prepare and submit reports on food sales, stock, and wastage
  • Customer Service and Relations
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner
    • Ensure that customer service standards are met and exceeded
  • Administrative and Financial Tasks
    • Prepare and submit budgets and cost estimates
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking, and standing for extended periods
    • Physically demanding role requiring flexibility and adaptability
  • Personal Qualities and Skills
    • Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills
    • Client-focused and team-oriented with a strong work ethic
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations
