Job Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Sales Director to lead our Environmental Services division in Southern Ontario. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of sales leadership, a strong understanding of the waste management industry, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of sales representatives: Foster a collaborative environment focused on achieving collective goals and surpassing expectations within the Environmental Services division.
  • Cultivate and fortify relationships: Proactively identify opportunities for expansion and cross-functional collaboration with a diverse portfolio of key accounts.
  • Champion new clientele and growth prospects: Align initiatives with the company's overarching objectives and explore new business opportunities.
  • Develop bespoke solutions: Deliver unparalleled value to clients by understanding their businesses, industries, and requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders: Ensure seamless service delivery and elevate customer satisfaction through close collaboration with marketing and product development teams.
  • Oversee the sales process: Consistently meet or surpass predefined sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and the sales team performance.
  • Conduct routine account evaluations: Analyze sales data and provide strategic insights and recommendations to optimize performance and enhance client experiences.
  • Stay abreast of industry dynamics: Identify and capitalize on new business prospects by remaining up-to-date on industry trends and competitor landscapes.

Qualifications:

  • Proven leadership experience: Track record of successful leadership roles, focus on managing and motivating teams to achieve and exceed targets.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in sales: Ideally within the Waste Management and Environmental Services industry.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills: Instrumental in cultivating enduring client relationships.
  • Proficiency in comprehending client requirements: Articulate compelling solutions that meet client needs.
  • Remarkable problem-solving acumen: Make sound decisions within dynamic environments.
  • Strong analytical skills: Assess sales performance, identify trends, evaluate opportunities, and make data-driven decisions to optimize team productivity and achieve revenue targets.
