The Department of Human Health and Science within the Faculty of Nursing is seeking candidates for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. This role is pivotal in advancing the teaching of Psychiatric Nursing and will involve delivering courses that emphasize the integration of science and health within nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality instruction in Psychiatric Nursing across various platforms, including in-person and online settings.
  • Engage in clinical teaching, which may necessitate additional certifications and adherence to professional standards.
  • Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement in health-related education.
  • Participate in research initiatives related to mental health and nursing education.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to foster a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a baccalaureate degree in Psychiatric Nursing and a graduate degree in Psychiatric Nursing or a closely related discipline. Preference will be given to those with doctoral qualifications. Candidates should have a solid background in Psychiatric Nursing education, licensure, and relevant experience, along with a demonstrated record of undergraduate teaching.
