We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Alberta Health Services. As a Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide leadership and expertise in the delivery of nursing services to patients, promoting their health, well-being, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the delivery of patient care
  • Develop and implement nursing plans to meet the unique needs of patients
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop plans to address them
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and well-being

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited Psychiatric nursing education program
  • Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta (CRPNA)
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a leadership role in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
