Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing services to patients, families, and communities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Utilize critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to deliver patient-centered care.
- Teach, counsel, and advocate on behalf of patients and their families, promoting health promotion and maintenance.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic and integrated care.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing patient needs and goals.
- Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
- Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.
- Minimum 1-year inpatient psychiatry experience, with a focus on pediatric care.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position and provide hands-on care to patients in unpredictable situations.
- Experience working with electronic medical records (EMRs) and other healthcare technologies.
- Baccalaureate degree in nursing or a related field.
