Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Business Unit Director to lead our Immunology team. As a key member of our Sales and Marketing Leadership Team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a strategy to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a large, national commercial team in the development and execution of strategic and tactical plans to drive business results.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team, including recruitment, development, coaching, and performance management of direct reports.
- Collaborate effectively across multiple functions within J&J Family of Companies to drive business results and ensure a high-performance culture.
- Collaborate with Medical Affairs and New Business counterparts, and global J&J counterparts to prepare for new business opportunities and models.
- Build long-term, productive relationships with customers to drive business growth and shape the external environment.
- Participate as a strategic member of the Sales and Marketing Leadership Team.
Requirements:
- Minimum of a University degree in Life Sciences or Business; MBA an asset.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in progressive leadership roles, including multiple director-level experiences and experience through multiple stages of a brand's lifecycle.
- Immunology therapeutic knowledge/experience an asset.
- Proven ability to grow a business.
- Broad and deep knowledge of marketing at the 'expert' level, including brand strategy, financial management, franchise management, and marketing execution.
- Leadership competencies, including global/enterprise mindset, talent acquisition and development, team engagement, ability to challenge the status quo, and shape and lead change.
- Bilingualism an asset (French).
