Job Title: Business Unit Director

Join Arcadis as a Business Unit Director and lead our Buildings Engineering team in Canada. As a key member of our Places Business Area, you will be responsible for driving business growth, developing and implementing strategies, and leading a diverse team of senior specialists.

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned leader with a strong background in engineering and business management. You will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability
  • Leading a team of senior specialists and developing their skills and capabilities
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Identifying and targeting new business opportunities
  • Coaching and mentoring discipline managers and service managers
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in engineering and business management
  • At least 10+ years of experience leading and growing a significant business function within a professional services firm
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Well-developed commercial skills and a sound knowledge of the industry
