Position Overview:
Ocean State Job Lot is in search of a dedicated and experienced Clinical Practice Leader for our Advanced Clinical Care team. This full-time, permanent role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of care provided to individuals facing acute psychiatric challenges and concurrent substance use disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to implement and assess best practices in clinical care.
- Provide direct care to high-risk clients, ensuring comprehensive support in complex situations.
- Foster inter-professional collaboration and engage in academic and research initiatives.
- Promote adherence to documentation standards and participate in quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient safety.
- Mentor and supervise graduate students, contributing to their professional development.
- Engage in program planning and evaluation to optimize patient outcomes.
- Act as a clinical resource in strategic planning for both inpatient and outpatient services.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, with current registration in good standing.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mental health and addiction treatment.
- A deep understanding of the intricate psychiatric and physical health needs of this population.
- Additional certifications in psychiatric/mental health are advantageous.
- A commitment to advancing academic and research efforts, with a proven ability to lead change in a culturally diverse environment.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, negotiation, teaching, and computer skills.
- Bilingualism or proficiency in a second language is a plus.
