The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a full-time, permanent Advanced Practice Clinical Leader in CYEAP.

This role is part of a team of Advanced Practice Clinical Leaders (APCLs) that support a variety of patient populations in CAMH\u2019s Child, Youth and Emerging Adult Program.

As a Clinical Leader, you will be responsible for advancing clinical practice and providing systems leadership through the implementation and evaluation of best practices in the assessment, care planning, and discharge planning of children and youth with severe mental health challenges, substance use, and trauma histories.

You will also provide consultation services to interprofessional teams in other clinical programs across the organization on an as-needed basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advance clinical practice and provide systems leadership through the implementation and evaluation of best practices
  • Provide consultation services to interprofessional teams
  • Support family engagement initiatives, quality improvement initiatives, and patient and staff safety strategies
  • Preceptorship of graduate students; engagement in evaluation and research; and participation in interprofessional academic opportunities
  • Participate in program planning and evaluation; develop and maintain integrated care pathways to enhance patient population outcomes

Requirements:

  • Master\u2019s degree in a Health Sciences discipline
  • Member in good standing with the respective regulatory College
  • Nursing preferred
  • Eligibility for cross-appointment with the University of Toronto
  • Five years clinical experience involving clients with mental health and addiction
