Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Live-In Child Care Provider to assist in the daily care and supervision of children in a family setting. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the well-being and development of the children under your care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
Work Environment
  • Non-smoking
  • Scent-free
  • Work setting in the employer's home located in a rural area
  • Room and board provided
Key Responsibilities

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Changing diapers and assisting with toilet training
  • Sterilizing bottles and preparing formulas
  • Assuming full responsibility for household tasks in the absence of parents
  • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Shopping for food and household supplies
  • Traveling with the family on trips and assisting with child supervision
  • Bathing, dressing, and feeding infants and children
  • Disciplining children according to parental guidelines
  • Instructing children in personal hygiene and social skills
  • Maintaining records of daily activities and health information
  • Ensuring a safe and healthy environment
  • Organizing activities such as games and outings
  • Preparing and serving nutritious meals
  • Supervising and caring for children during rest periods
  • Supporting children's emotional well-being and assisting with homework
