About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Black Sage Bistro Ltd. as a Head Cook. This is a permanent position, working 37.5 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Chef Supervision

Lead and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless kitchen operations.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen efficiency.

Quality Control

Inspect and ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety.

Staff Training and Development

Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.

Work Experience

At least 2 years of experience as a cook or in a related role is necessary.

Language

Fluency in English is essential.

Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment, requiring attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work under pressure.
