About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef de Partie to join our culinary team at Lac Le Jeune Resort. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for supervising the activities of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Develop and implement new recipes, menus, and culinary concepts to enhance the dining experience.
  • Train and mentor junior chefs and cooks, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, ordering supplies, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute special events, banquets, and weddings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent culinary skills, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
