About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Hoppla Restaurants Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution

Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our discerning customers.

Chef Management

Lead and manage a team of skilled chefs and kitchen staff to ensure seamless execution of menu items and exceptional customer service.

Inventory Management

Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to maintain optimal kitchen operations and minimize waste.

Quality Control

Conduct regular kitchen inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety standards, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.

Staff Development

Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff to enhance their skills and knowledge, and promote a culture of excellence and teamwork.

Requirements
  • Education

College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role, preferably in a high-volume restaurant environment.

Work Setting

Restaurant environment with a fast-paced and dynamic atmosphere.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with frequent standing, walking, and lifting of heavy loads.

Personal Suitability

Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and team collaboration.
