The Quality Assurance Tester plays a crucial role in the functional evaluation of boiler units and associated assemblies, adhering to established protocols while actively promoting a culture of safety.

Shift Details:

Schedule: 2nd Shift (Afternoons Monday to Thursday from 4 pm to 2 am)

Key Responsibilities:

- Interpret and analyze dimensional and electrical schematics to identify and rectify operational issues.

- Possess a solid understanding of mechanical systems, enabling effective troubleshooting and resolution of issues related to piping, burner functions, and other mechanical elements.

- Review process documentation, pinpoint discrepancies, and complete all requisite unit reporting.

- Operate an overhead crane as necessary.

- Utilize specialized testing instruments, including high potential testers, fuel gas analyzers, and vibration meters.

Essential Skills:

  • Proficient in reading and interpreting dimensional and electrical schematics
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Capacity to work autonomously
  • Familiarity with and adherence to all testing Standard Operating Procedures
  • Mechanical and electrical proficiency
  • Keen attention to detail and quality assurance

Work Environment:

Typical conditions include plant, workshop, field, or office settings. Occasionally, there may be slightly unpleasant features, but exposure is minimal or nonexistent.
