Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Tim Horton's/Lacroix Street. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of food service staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customer interactions are positive and that customer feedback is acted upon.
  • Reporting and Administration
    • Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
    • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, training, and development.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
    • Standing for extended periods and working in a noisy, hot environment.
  • Work Setting
    • Coffee shop or restaurant environment.
