Job Summary

We are looking for a results-driven Store Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing staff, driving sales growth, and implementing effective marketing strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Management
    • Recruit, hire, and supervise a team of 5-10 staff members
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Merchandise and Services
    • Determine the types of merchandise and services to be sold in the store
    • Locate and procure high-quality merchandise for resale
  • Marketing and Sales
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth
    • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity
  • Financial Management
    • Plan and manage budgets to ensure financial stability
    • Monitor revenues and expenses to optimize profitability
  • Operational Management
    • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily store operations
    • Ensure a fast-paced and efficient work environment
Requirements
  • Education
    • College or CEGEP diploma
  • Experience
    • At least 1 year of experience in a retail management role
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
    • Proactive and efficient in a fast-paced environment
