Job Summary:

The Store Manager is a key member of the L'OCCITANE Group team, responsible for driving sales, reinforcing operations, merchandising, and beauty advisor development in their assigned store. This role requires a strong leader who can motivate a sales force, provide outstanding customer service, and maintain L'OCCITANE standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Product Knowledge: Acquire extensive knowledge of the entire L'OCCITANE product line, including skincare and beauty products.
  2. Customer Service: Advise and assist customers with their choices of products for themselves and for gifts, providing a personalized shopping experience.
  3. Staff Management: Manage, supervise, and train staff to ensure they meet sales goals and provide quality customer service.
  4. Operations: Maintain L'OCCITANE standards, including visual and merchandising standards, and hold staff accountable for providing quality customer service and achieving sales goals.
  5. Performance Analysis: Analyze and review sales associates' performance, developing coaching logs and refining selling techniques on a store-wide and individual basis.
  6. Customer Development: Develop a preferred customer registry for follow-up phone calls, product launches, and exclusive events, as well as a skincare customer base.
  7. Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train Beauty Advisors and future management candidates.

Requirements:

  1. Work Experience: 3+ years of work experience in retail sales, with a proven ability to motivate a sales force.
  2. Leadership Skills: Must present a positive professional and energetic attitude, with excellent oral and written communication skills.
  3. Math Skills: Basic math skills are necessary, with computer literacy including MS Office a plus.
