Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Branch Manager to join our team at J.D. Irving, Limited. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of our Moncton Branch and Northern New Brunswick operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Safety Leadership: Ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
  2. Operational Management: Oversee the planning and execution of operational activities, including personnel and equipment management.
  3. Customer Relations: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure excellent service and satisfaction.
  4. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve key performance measures and goals.
  5. Financial Management: Manage budgets, revenue, and expenses to ensure financial stability and growth.
  6. Strategic Planning: Develop and implement long-term plans to drive business growth and success.
  7. Communication: Effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, including employees, customers, and stakeholders.
  8. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve operational issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a related industry, with management experience in construction and a unionized environment preferred.
  3. Skills: Strong technical background, effective interpersonal and communication skills, and a track record of strong leadership and team building skills.
  4. Certifications: Lean or Six Sigma certifications, or equivalent continuous improvement experience.
  5. Language: Bilingual in English/French is required.
  6. Travel: Travel within Atlantic Canada may be required.
