Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Branch Manager Intern to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the day-to-day activities of the Moncton Branch and Northern New Brunswick operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Safety Leadership: Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and customers.
  2. Operational Management: Coordinate and manage the operational activities of the branch, including asset management, inventory control, and logistics.
  3. Leadership and Management: Lead and motivate a team of employees, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and services.
  4. Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to employees to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  5. Financial Management: Manage the branch's budget, revenue, and expenses, ensuring financial stability and growth.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Strong technical background and knowledge of heavy lift and specialized transport operations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Bilingual in English and French (required).
