Position Summary

The Sales Account Executive is responsible for marketing products, services, and supplies to designated customers within a specific market area or account base through both inbound and outbound telephone communications. This role may involve account management with established sales targets. While field activities are limited, they may occur occasionally.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Finalizing sales on designated products, or generating leads for external sales representatives.
  • Actively promoting to the existing customer base in alignment with company marketing and upgrade initiatives.
  • Collaborating with and providing support to field sales teams.

Required Qualifications

A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in relationship building, active listening, persuasion, negotiation, and time management. Familiarity with the principles and methods for demonstrating, promoting, and selling products or services is essential. This includes understanding marketing strategies, product demonstrations, sales techniques, and sales management systems. Knowledge of customer service principles is also important, including customer needs assessment, adherence to service quality standards, and evaluation of customer satisfaction. Effective written and verbal communication skills are necessary, along with basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management software.
