Position Title: IT Support Specialist
Location: Fredericton, NB
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Compensation: $23.00/hr

Role Overview:
Advantage Personnel is seeking IT Support Specialists to join our client's team in Saint John. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of New Brunswick's leading employers and to explore significant career growth potential for qualified individuals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily functions of Incident Management.

• Analyze and resolve Incidents within established KPIs and SLAs.

• Diligently record all communications, including calls, emails, and messages in the Incident Management system.

• Accurately input Incident details and adhere to escalation procedures.

• Evaluate Incident categorization and severity at the outset.

• Comply with corporate policies and regulations.

• Provide implementation and post-implementation support across the organization.

• Engage in on-call support as required.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; eligibility for Controlled Goods Program certification and a 5-year Canadian residency is mandatory.

• Completion of a college diploma or degree.

• High energy level with a strong emphasis on customer service.

• Proficient with desktops, laptops, handheld, and mobile devices.

• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.

• Capability to analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve technical challenges.

• ITIL Foundations certification or knowledge is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Office 365, Windows 7/10, MS Office Suite, Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft Edge, Google Chrome, SCCM remote control, SharePoint, and remote access is essential.

• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Exchange, Active Directory, and controlled goods is a plus.

Work Environment:
The IT Support Specialist will operate in a business casual setting, emphasizing teamwork, collaboration, and enhancing IT service delivery throughout the organization.
