About the Role

FUTURE-TECH CANADA is seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to our users, ensuring that they have a seamless experience with our computer systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to users experiencing difficulties with computer systems and networks, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Network Administration: Give access to computer networks, report on the performance of computer systems and networks, and provide business systems, network, and Internet support to users.
  • Training and Development: Provide advice and training to users in response to identified difficulties, and collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise other technical support workers in this group, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to users, responding to their inquiries and resolving their issues in a timely and professional manner.
Work Environment

The Technical Support Specialist will work in a fast-paced environment, with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The ideal candidate will be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and maintain attention to detail.

Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
