Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Lease Administration Specialist to join our team at Cadillac Fairview. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for providing leadership support and expertise to regional and property staff relating to lease interpretation and tenant queries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze Tenant Proposal Forms to validate information and identify potential financial losses to the organization.
  • Consult with Leasing Executives to highlight risks and recommend alternative solutions.
  • Manage Tenant Proposal Forms through every stage of the leasing process, ensuring timely importation into Yardi.
  • Facilitate accurate financial and operational reporting.
  • Review Document Request Forms prepared by General Managers to ensure amendment tracking is correct in Yardi.
  • Manage the administration of signed documents, including Leases, Lease Amending Agreements, Specialty Leasing Agreements, and License Agreements, to ensure tenants are billed in accordance with legal documents.
  • Identify Lease exceptions related to recoveries and manage their administration by tracking them in Yardi and the Recovery Manual.
  • Complete lease exceptions analysis to determine the financial impact of selected exception deals.
  • Provide ongoing leadership support and expertise to property staff on lease interpretation and tenant queries.
  • Monitor the setup of deals in Yardi to ensure Revenue policies and procedures are followed.
  • Calculate monthly recoveries and post recovery accruals.
  • Provide training to property and regional staff on the Commercial Management section of Yardi and SSLE.
  • Collaborate with Senior Directors, Finance Services to promote and implement new system initiatives and revenue procedures.
Requirements
  • University degree in accounting, finance, commerce, business, or law.
  • Minimum years of experience in property management.
  • Advanced knowledge of Word and Excel.
