Job Title: Luxury Brand Sales Consultant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Luxury Brand Sales Consultant to join our team at EMCO Corporation. As a Luxury Brand Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert product selection assistance and design advice to our customers, ensuring the highest levels of customer satisfaction and meeting or exceeding sales and gross profit targets.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service: Represent the Profit Centre in a professional manner, upholding our core values and ethics with every interaction, and being an effective teammate in the Profit Centre and supporting other areas of the business as needs arise.
  2. Product Knowledge: Know the products and services they are selling to each customer, being innovative and creative, and willing to continuously learn new products and develop selling skills.
  3. Sales and Revenue: Assist showroom customers in assessing their needs, directing their product selections, and closing the sale, meeting or exceeding monthly product specific sales and gross profit targets, and entering orders and quotes in the system.
  4. Relationship Building: Develop and build strong relationships with designers, home builders, and architects to grow profitable sales, and maintain product literature to ensure most current information is available to customers.
  5. Problem Solving: Investigate and resolve customer issues, address short payments and returns in a timely fashion that exceeds the customers' expectations and benefits of the Profit Centre.
Requirements:
  1. Education: College and/or University degree required, with Design, Architecture, or sales-related degree an asset but not a mandate.
  2. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience with customer service or sales, with kitchen or bathroom showroom sales preferred.
  3. Skills: Ability to gain comprehensive knowledge of products on display at the Showroom, able to suggest appropriate product to suit customers' needs and promote the value-added services, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office software.
  4. Personal Qualities: Outstanding customer service and verbal communication skills, excellent relationship building skills with customers, vendors, and teammates, and able to identify customer needs, provide solutions, and close the sale.
