Position Overview

As a Culinary Service Supervisor at Mandarin House, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our food service department. Your leadership will ensure that our culinary team delivers exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
  • Work Environment: This position is set within a dynamic restaurant atmosphere.
  • Core Duties:
    • Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules.
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff responsible for food preparation and portioning.
    • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
    • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
    • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
    • Ensure food quality and service standards are consistently met.
    • Prepare budget plans and cost estimates for operations.
    • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
    • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste management.
    • Compile food order summaries for the culinary team.
    • Possess knowledge of various culinary styles relevant to the establishment.
    • Oversee the assembly of trays and the delivery of food trolleys.
    • Establish and manage work schedules for the team.
    Supervision

You will be responsible for supervising a team of 5-10 individuals.
