About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Umai Sushi. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Establish and implement effective work schedules to meet business demands
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff to ensure seamless service
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Inventory and Supply Chain Management
    • Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation to minimize waste and optimize inventory
  • Customer Service and Quality Control
    • Ensure that food and service meet our high quality standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner
  • Administrative and Record-Keeping
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines, and the ability to work under pressure. You will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and walk frequently.
