Position: Business Performance Analyst

Location: Ebury Toronto - 4 days in the office, 1 day from home office

Role Overview

As a Business Performance Analyst at Ebury Canada, you will be instrumental in enhancing our sales team's effectiveness by delivering data-driven insights, refining sales methodologies, and executing strategies aimed at boosting revenue. You will collaborate closely with local management, utilize data analytics tools, and assist in the formulation and implementation of sales enhancement initiatives. This position is based in our Toronto office, while also engaging with our regional offices in Vancouver and Montreal, reporting to headquarters in London, UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales Data Analysis: Gather, analyze, and interpret sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities. Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor sales performance and deliver actionable insights to sales leadership.
  • Process Improvement: Partner with the sales team to evaluate and enhance current sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, pipeline management, and forecasting. Identify inefficiencies and implement strategies to streamline operations and boost productivity.
  • Sales Support: Assist in the creation and execution of sales support programs, including training materials, sales resources, and playbooks. Ensure sales representatives are equipped with the necessary tools and resources to effectively engage prospects and close deals.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports and presentations on sales performance, pipeline metrics, and revenue projections. Analyze data to pinpoint opportunities for revenue enhancement, customer segmentation, and cross-selling/up-selling initiatives.
  • CRM Oversight: Maintain and optimize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring accurate and current customer and sales data. Provide training and support to the sales team on CRM best practices.
  • Automation Initiatives: Identify opportunities for automating sales processes and collaborate with the technology team to implement suitable tools and systems. Streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks to enhance sales team efficiency.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify industry trends, competitive positioning, and customer needs. Provide insights to the sales team for improved targeting and differentiation.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and finance, to align sales enhancement initiatives with overall business goals. Collaborate with sales managers to ensure effective execution and adoption of sales strategies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated experience as a sales analyst or in a similar capacity, preferably within the financial services sector.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, Salesforce, or similar CRM systems.
  • Comprehensive understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and the lead-to-revenue lifecycle.
  • Experience with sales enablement tools and technologies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data and insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work efficiently in cross-functional teams.
  • Additional language proficiency in French is desirable.
  • Familiarity with financial products and markets is advantageous.
