Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Food Service Operations Manager to oversee the daily functions of our establishment. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant while maintaining high standards of service and quality.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college diploma in a relevant field (1 to 2 years)
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate financial plans to maximize restaurant profitability
  • Develop budgets to forecast expenses related to food, beverages, and supplies
  • Monitor daily operations to ensure efficiency
  • Analyze revenue streams to control labor costs
  • Organize and coordinate daily operational tasks
  • Create staff schedules to optimize workflow
  • Provide training and development for team members
  • Manage cash handling and prepare necessary financial reports
  • Conduct performance assessments for staff
  • Oversee inventory management
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers
  • Assist in developing marketing initiatives
  • Resolve customer inquiries and concerns
Team Leadership

Supervise a small team of 1 to 2 individuals, fostering a collaborative work environment.

Certifications and Requirements
  • Possession of a valid Safe Food Handling certificate is required
