About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 1454658 Ontario Inc. as a key member of our restaurant management team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 food service staff, ensuring seamless execution of daily operations.
  • Quality Control: Establish and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and customer service, ensuring that all menu items meet our quality control standards.
  • Staff Development: Train and develop staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure team members are equipped to excel in their roles.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, minimizing waste and ensuring optimal stock levels.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive dining experience for all patrons.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records of sales, stock, repairs, and wastage, as well as establish and manage work schedules to ensure efficient operations.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
