About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2539752 Ontario Inc. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service establishment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Oversee the activities of food service counter attendants and food preparers, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and service.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff members, focusing on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate and manage inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, ensuring we meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing customer complaints and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to meet business needs, ensuring adequate staffing levels during peak periods.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Work Setting: Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Physical Capabilities: Ability to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent communication skills, client focus, and initiative.
